TIP #2 Set strict goals

Your main goal is to be an officer in Uttarakhand , to achieve this goal you have to give proper time to each goal. Divide your dream into 3 goals as UKPSC has three stages of exam Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Complete each goal step by step and achieve your main goal. TIP #3 Check the Eligibility Criteria of UKPSC exam
To fill the form of UKPSC, one must attain the following conditions
- Should be a citizen of India.
- Age limit ( 21 – 42 )
- Should be graduate and post-graduate (for some posts) from a recognized university.
TIP #4 Know the Latest Exam Pattern of UKPSC
After evaluating yourself and before completing the syllabus. You should know what are the stages of the exam. UKPSC conducts the exam of UKPSC every year. UKPSC also follows the same pattern as UPSC, so its exam is also divided into three stages.

TIP #5 Manage Your Time
It is necessary to make time table. You know that UKPSC has three stages, your first stage is Prelims, so you should keep your main focus on completing the Prelims syllabus. But you must start preparing for Mains and Interview as well.
First of all, decide the time you want to give per day. Then divide the time into 3 parts to prepare for the examination. Suppose you want to dedicate 6 hours daily, then give 4 hours to prepare for prelims, and rest 2 hours for Mains and Interview. Prelims is the first stage of UKPSC and each candidate has to clear and be in merit to sit in Mains
You should learn how to write answers for Mains as it is a subjective paper. Many candidates complain that they don’t get marks even they write the correct answer. The thing is not writing the answer properly, the important thing is to write the answer in an appropriate manner. This skill cannot be developed in a day or two so start preparing for the skill.

TIP #6 Understand The Syllabus

UKPSC PRELIMS
This is the first stage of the selection process. This exam has two papers each of 150 marks. The duration of each exam is 2 hours. This exam will have negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The qualified marks are 33% and it is necessary to qualify the exam to sit in the main exam.

UKPSC MAINS
This is the second stage of UKPSC and the merit-deciding stage. the candidates who score high marks gets qualified for the exam. This exam has 7 papers and each paper is of 3 hours.
