For the HAS exam in 2024, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution in any discipline. Importantly, aspirants can take the preliminary exam while still completing their degree. However, proof of degree completion is mandatory for the Main Exam.
Note:- Medical students who have passed their final exams but haven't completed their internship may apply, provided they submit a certificate of passing the final medical exam.

HPAS 2024: Eligibility Guidelines for Ex-Servicemen from Himachal Pradesh
The 2024 extends special eligibility provisions for Ex-Servicemen, reflecting appreciation for their national service. Candidates with a military background are required to adhere to specific documentation and eligibility criteria to qualify under reserved categories.
